Day 13: Obsessions

1/200 sec, F6, ISO 100

Notes: Preferring to believe I have no obsessions, I was not pleased with today's theme ... until it occurred to me that were I to ask someone what they thought my obsessions were, this, certainly, would top their list. (I don't want to know what the rest of the list might contain.) I also figured it was too late to nab an iconic image of some common obsession.

Day 12: Wilderness

wil·der·nessˈwildərnis
noun
1. an uncultivated, uninhabited, and inhospitable region.

My Sock Drawer

1/40 sec, F2.8, ISO 200

Notes: One might think that a theme like "wilderness" would be right down my alley. FOr this project I am committed to posting only images I have captured on the day of the theme. That is part of the challenge --  to look for images I Otherwise might not search for. Sigh. Today i did not have time to shoot any wilderness shots, apart from a flock of seagulls that turned out wholly uninspiring. So looking up the definition of "wilderness" the first thing that came to mind was my sock drawer. Enjoy.

Day 11: Silver and Gold

Icy path

1/400 sec, F9, ISO 200

Notes: Damn, got stuck in traffic this morning and by the time I got to work most of the super heavy frost had melted off. Missed the best light too. Oh well, its the idea that counts. Here are a couple of other images from this morning:

Day 10: Vintage Inspirations

Vintage Barn

.6 sec, F13, ISO 100

Notes: Not typically inspired by things of old, after the snow stopped I wandeered around taking pictures of old things. Sigh.

Day 9: Footprints

Water prints.

1/160 sec, F8, ISO 1600

Notes: What can be said? The rain washed away the snow and all the prints on the sand. Again little time to explore with the camera.
